Thank You to the the students/staff for a great day at Cherrywoods Acres – Excellent parent interaction this evening.  A special thanks to the returning grade 8 students (with their parents) who wanted to learn more!

St Joseph CES

May 9, 2013

Tilbury, ONT – St Joseph CES. The grade 7/8 group was the quietest group I have ever spoken to.  The message hit home early, and they were focused!  Great to see some of the students encourage their parents to attend the evening presentation.  Thank you to the visiting Principal from another school in the Board who attended and now has asked me to speak at her school in the 2013/2014 calendar.  My first trip to Tilbury was great.  Great feedback from all the parents who attended.

St Ambroise CES

May 8, 2013

It was a double duty day!!  This afternoon I spoke at my first all French school in St Joachim.  A great Principal with excellent staff support who participated in the student presentation.  For a small school, you brought out a great parent audience this evening, and one that was very engaged!!  The feedback from parents was excellent.  I appreciate the opportunity to speak with your community.

Talbot Trail PS

May 8, 2013

500+ students today at Talbot Trail in Windsor this morning.  Both audiences were excellent.  Great job by the school and very respectful groups.  The non-stop questioning from the students shows their keen interest in understanding how to be safe online.

Roseland PS & Southwood PS

May 7, 2013

From Wasaga to Windsor overnight, to be at Roseland for the first of five presentations during this very busy day.  A great day at both schools, with very attentive audiences.  Great feedback from both school Principals advising how the message “got through”  Thank You to parents who attended this evening, and your kind feedback.

St Noel Chabanel CES

May 6, 2013

Wonderful day in Wasaga Beach speaking at St Noel Chabanel.  Thanks to the parent council for making this day happen, and for your support this evening.  Considering there was an “important” sporting event on, you chose online safety first!

Featherstone ES

May 2, 2013

Thank You Featherstone ES for allowing me to return and speak to your students and parents.  What was of great interest to me, was to hear how some of the students had listened to my message from last year, and went home with action items!  They learned more this year with hopes they will continue to execute on safety measures when online.

Mother Theresa CHS

May 1, 2013

May starts off with speaking to 800 students over two assemblies at Mother Theresa CHS.  Seeing the action of students right after my presentations make some changes on the spot was very rewarding.  You had a great turnout this evening from your community – with a very spirited audience.  Thanks for allowing me to speak with your community.

Maple Ridge PS

April 30, 2013

Back to Ottawa and Maple Ridge PS.  Two large groups of students with very good questions throughout.  I will always remember a your girl who asked me “why do you like to do this” (in reference to speaking to students).  It was great to explain the reward I get every day when I get to guide children to be safe online.  The parents this evening were very interactive and had good dialogue between each other during Q&A.  Thanks for your great feedback!

Very excited to have presented at my first school in Quebec.  It was a great day, and fantastic parent turnout this evening that was community supported (parents who took the initiative to bring the day together).  The feedback from parents this evening was excellent!  Thank You to the principal for asking me to return next year!
