St-Jean-de-Brébeuf

April 28, 2014

Two Schools  today in London!  St-Jean-de-Brébeuf followed by Ste-Jeanne d’Arc.  A Phenomenal day, with St Jean de Brebeuf hosting a record breaking parent audience in the Providence French Catholic School Board!  Excellent job by both schools!

Merci!

Our Lady of Peace, YCDSB

April 25, 2014

Today I spend the day with the students at Our Lady of Peace in the YCDSB.  What was unique about today? I spoke to parents this evening – YES, a Friday night, and parents stayed from 7:00pm – 9:00pm on a Friday night.  Three parents had already attended my presentation two years back, and returned for an update.  It was truly a pleasure to spend time with both student and parents today!

Anne MacArthur, HDSB

April 24, 2014

Anne MacArthur PS in the Halton District School Board.  I spoke with the Grade 4/5/6s & 7/8s today, and then back this evening with the parents and staff.  Great to be recognized by a teacher who saw me two years ago, at another school.

“Even better than the last time I saw you”  Grade 8 Teacher, Anne MacArthur

“Fantastic! I’m glad we came. Thank You!”  Mon&Dad, Anne MacArthur

Prince Philip, NDSB

April 23, 2014

The very first school I visited in the Niagara District School Board was Prince Philip.  Since that visit, I have spent countless days speaking to schools in the Niagara area.  Today, I returned to speak with students and parents.  Two sessions with the students and this evening with the parents.  Thank You for having me back, and continued support of my message.  Great to see both the Principal and VP – who were my references to other schools in the Board.

“It was an awesome presentation. Thank you so much for what you are doing. I will spread the word.” – Mother @ Prince Philip

Glenview PS, TDSB

April 22, 2014

This week starts off in the TDSB @ Glenview, with 700 students over two presentations today (Grade 7 & 8).  Both sessions were well received with the VP commenting on how captivated they were for the whole hour.  This evening, one mother communicated to the other parents how her daughter came home and made some changes in her online life – and that her friends were doing the same thing.  That in itself is the rewarding part of the day.  Thank You to the parents of Glenview this evening for attending (and taking lots of notes)

Emily Carr Middle School, Ottawa

April 17, 2014

The day before Good Friday, and not only did we have an excellent day with the students, but a very good support group of parents this evening!  Excellent feedback from both the Principals, parents and staff of my day at the school.  A special thanks to the Vice Principal who saw me at her previous school, and invited me to speak at her new school.  I appreciate the support of my message.

“Paul, Thank You so much for the excellent presentation to our students.  Our ECMS students learned a lot and were very engaged & interested in the information that you discussed”  Principal & Vice Principal, Emily Carr Middle School

Trillium, PS

April 16, 2014

In Orleans, Ontario – I visited Trillium School for the first time.  Excellent support from both Principals at the school, and the teachers who returned tonight to hear the extended/adult version of the presentation.  I met wonderful young man (grade 7)  today who has been learning programming languages on his own, and developed a website (for a school project) on “cyber safety” – Very Inspiring.

“My son and daughter both enjoyed your presentation. They said it was intense & with lots of information” – Hamish, Parent @ Trillium

“My third time attending the presentation – excellent as usual.  I will for sure be in attendance again!” Mother, Trillium

St Michaels, Carp

April 15, 2014

In a small community outside Ottawa, I spent the day at St Michael’s.  Even with the surprise Spring snow-fall today, we had an excellent turnout of parents this evening, including a member of the Ottawa Police.  Thank You for inviting me to speak with your students & parents.

Hopewell Ave, PS

April 14, 2014

From Notre Dame to Hopewell Ave PS this afternoon.  Two sessions with two different age groups of students.  This evening, parents (and teachers) attended the adult version my message.  The Principal at Hopewell had me at her previous school two years ago, and invited me to speak at her new school.  Thank You for your support of my message.
