It’s Friday! Yes – I spoke on a Friday! I visited St Davids to update the Grade 7/8s on a topic so near and dear to them. Very rewarding to be remembered from two years ago, and to have so many great questions. Thank You!

My last day in the region and in the French Catholic Board was at L’Essor High School, in Tecumseh. Two great sessions with students, and a wonderful interactive session with parents this evening. The principal provided excellent feedback from the students and their parents, along with the written forms. Thanks for a great day!!

My second day in the French Catholic School Board at M. Augustin-Caron. One of the most attentive group of students I have ever presented to. I walked into the gym thinking it was empty, and there sat groups of students waiting to start! Their questions caused us to run over our allotted time in both sessions… and that is a great sign of their interest in security.

Thank You to Mackenzie Glen Parent council for working on getting me in to their school. A great day with students, and a Stellar night with parents! An amazing job by the parents to get a great crowd out this evening. We had to find more chairs! It was great to speak with the whole community. @Btaha

From Hudson to San Lorenzo Ruiz this afternoon. What an excellent group of students (both groups) today. Attentive and Respectful. A young girl in Grade 4/5 walked up to me and gave me a Rainbow Loom bracelet she made and said “thank you for teaching us to be safe, I want you to have this”. I am rarely at a loss for words, but I can’t describe how great that feeling is. Thanks to the wonderful parent support this evening, and your great comments!

Great day at Donview MS (400 students) and Fenside ES. “You could hear a pin drop” said the Principal at Donview of her 400 students, as she addressed the parents tonight. Yes, they were very much into the message. I had the computer teacher tweeting my message the whole session.. and found out later his thumbs were hurting! Thank You! @tdsb
