St Theresa, Ottawa Catholic

May 13, 2014

Parent Council did an excellent job of getting teachers and parents out this evening for the presentation.  Thank You for the opportunity to speak with your community.

“It was terrific.  I heard Paul speak to kids two years ago at another school.  Tonight I was happy to bring my husband.  So Informative.  Thanks Paul for doing what you do!” – Parent/Teacher – St Theresa

Cedarview MS, Ottawa

May 12, 2014

Off to Ottawa for the week, and it starts off at Cedarview Middle School.  I arrived at this school as a result of a reference from another Principal (whom I will present to, for a second time – this week).  The students were excellent, and a great parent turnout this evening from the school and parents of schools close by.  Great community support.

“That was awesome” School Principal

“Mr Davis, I wanted to Thank You for an awesome presentation today at Cedarview Middle School” – Teacher who emailed me tonight

Letter of Reference

May 10, 2014

It was an honour this week to receive A letter of reference from a Calgary Police Cyber Crimes Division Officer.

It really meant a lot to read (many times over!).

Private Parent/Family Presentation

May 9, 2014

A mother who attended a presentation three weeks ago, asked for me to speak at a Parent&Family Invite function today (Yes, again on a Friday night).  How could I resist!  Well, she got families together, and we spend two hours this evening talking at all levels.  That is dedication..  for families to allocate their Friday night on education.  Thanks for making this happen!

Summit Heights, TDSB

May 9, 2014

Friday brings me to Summit Heights in the TDSB.  Students (along with some of their parents) listened to my message, in a focused 70min session.  A Very good group.  Before I left – the parent council decided to have me return and speak to the parent community next year, and one teacher asked me to speak at his son’s school…  Thank You!

Orchard Park, Niagara

May 8, 2014

My second visit to Orchard Park.  The word-of-mouth from my first visit was very powerful in this community, as we had a GREAT parent turnout this evening.  Parents from other schools attended.  And to make my day: A mother drove her Grade 6 daughter 165km to see me (from just outside London, ON).  Why? Mom saw me last week in London, but her daughter missed the day presentation, and believe she NEEDED to see it. That is truly and honour!

Smith PS, Niagara

May 7, 2014

Day one of two in Niagara starts off at Smith PS today.  Two presentations to the students followed by the parents tonight. I believe a job is well done, when the Principal asks “when should we have you back”, before you leave!  Thank You!

Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School

May 6, 2014

Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School in Mississauga.  One session with the Grade 9/10s this morning, and then a staff Lunch and Learn right after.  Thank You for the opportunity to speak with your students/staff.

St. Antoine Daniel, Victoria Harbour

May 5, 2014

The day started early in Midland at Midland Secondary School speaking to 600 students (I will post about this later).  I then went to Victoria Harbour and spent the day with students at St. Antoine Daniel.   From 600 students in one session to approx 2 x 50 students in two sessions – vastly different in approach – but the both very effective.  Great day at both schools.
