My full day started with speaking to students at Heritage School in Okotoks.
A very attentive group of Grade 7/8/9s, that were asking me questions all the way to the door, on my way out!
I traveled to Okotoks Jr High for two more students sessions. Grade 9, and then 7/8. As I reflect, the Grade 9s gave full attention for 60min, which could have gone longer.
This evening (yes, Friday night), we had 80-100 parents attend, and stay for close to two hours.

The Principal at John Castello had attended one of my presentations last year, as a parent.
Today I spoke to his Grade 4/5/6s, and to their parents tonight. He did an amazing job getting a great parent audience! I will always remember your students for the FIVE career related questions they asked me, along with:
“Sir, if you had a choice to be an Astronaut or teach kids about online safety – what would you choose”, and of course I answered without hesitation – KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE

Last year, the Principal at Glamorgan saw me at a Youth Conference, and asked me that day to come to her school. Today I spoke to the students, and this evening to their parents. We had six students return with their parents this evening.

Valley Creek originally had me visit just over a year ago. My return today in speaking with Grade 4/5/6 was great. My optics were on the Grade 7/8/9s – and for 60min they were in-tune, and with more tech-targeted questions versus last year. Modifying my presentation to reflect their current trends worked out perfectly.

I return for 11days to Calgary – with my first stop at Christ The King in the South, today.
My Thanks to the Principal of Christ The King who invited me back to speak with his community. My first visit was two years ago. An amazing reception by students who remembered my message and told me what they had changed online after first seeing me.

In the YCDSB I visited Prince of Peace, St Thomas Aquinas and St Berrnadette.
An incredible day of three presentations to three different schools. A first for me.
The Principal at STA has now asked me four times to visit his schools. I am very Thankful for his support of my message to students and parents.

Today I returned for two presentations to students, and tonight with their parents.
St Andrews had me speak last year and invited me back for an update, and for those who missed it.
The Grade 9 session lasted 20min longer due to some excellent interaction.
I appreciate the opportunity have presented again

A long time in the making, but today I was finally able to present at Julliard PS in Vaughan.
Two large student sessions – and great interaction in the Grade 7/8 session.
I look forward to my June Q&A with your Grade 8s!

My first day back has me visiting Chemong PS, in Bridgenorth Ontario!
Even with Team Canada in the Finals today, we had a good parent audience out this evening in freezing temps.

Happy New Year. I look forward to returning to schools and speaking with students, educators, administrators and parents. After some rest and quality family time, I am ready to go!
