Ashton Meadows PS, Markham

November 19, 2015

My first visit to Ashton Meadows in Markham today.

I wish to thank the parent council for working on securing this date, which was a year in the making.

The students were well behaved with good questions.

Great meeting the parents of the community tonight.

A special Thanks to Stephanie (Child & Youth Worker at YRDSB) for her great feedback and support.

St Kateri, Markham

November 18, 2015

This is a record: The Principal at St Kateri has asked me to speak four times over the past four years, at two different schools.  THANK YOU!

The reception from the Grade 7/8s was amazing – what they retained from last year was excellent.

Great meeting the parents tonight!

John Sweeney, Kitchener

November 17, 2015

Day two of #antibullyingweek has me in Kitchener, Ontario at John Sweeney PS

Awesome day with the students and this evening with the parents.

LOVED the feedback from the Grade 8 teacher who attended my parent session and shared her comments from the students after they left my session.

The Principal has now asked me to speak at three of his schools since I started on this journey of education.

John Black PS, Fergus

November 12, 2015

Back to Fergus, Ontario today at John Black PS.  Two excellent audiences today with the kids.

The wind/rain did not hold back a good parent audience tonight.  Thanks for making the effort to get me to your school.

“The feedback I got from staff was extremely positive. Your message was very powerful and well delivered.” – Principal, John Black

Good Shepherd, Courtice

November 10, 2015

14 months after my first visit, I returned to Good Shepherd today in Courtice, Ontario.  The Principal and Parent Council made today happen right after I left their school last year.  The students were excellent!  Very nice to see familiar faces of the parents who attended last time out.  Thank You for bringing me back!

Burleigh Hill, Niagara

November 9, 2015

One of the smallest schools (with a BIG heart) that I have visited was Burleigh Hill in St Catharines today.

Smaller audience made for more interactive sessions with both groups of students.  Thanks to the parent council and their efforts to bring me in today.  I appreciate the kind gift from council, after the parent session this evening.  My kids have already read it!
