St. Antoine Daniel, Victoria Harbour

May 5, 2014

The day started early in Midland at Midland Secondary School speaking to 600 students (I will post about this later).  I then went to Victoria Harbour and spent the day with students at St. Antoine Daniel.   From 600 students in one session to approx 2 x 50 students in two sessions – vastly different in approach – but the both very effective.  Great day at both schools.

Windsor Essex Catholic School Board

May 2, 2014

Today, I was honoured with the opportunity to speak to all administrators at the WECDSB.  Two  60min sessions of a trimmed down version of my traditional parent presentation.

Thank You for allowing me to speak with your school Board.

In attendance today, and with show of support:

Windsor Police, LaSalle Police, Windsor Internet Child Exploitation (ICE)  Unit, Kingsville OPP (Ontario Provincial Police)

St Anne & St Michael, Blenheim

May 1, 2014

In the small town of Blenheim (outside of Chatham), two schools partnered up for a presentation to the students today, and parents this evening.  A successful day, with great support from the Principals of both schools.

St Agnes & St Joseph, Chatham

April 30, 2014

Today, I presented to two small schools who partnered up and had me to speak with both student audiences.  A grade 8 girl was very honest and direct when telling me she was not looking forward to “another safety presentation”..  and then after, said it was the best presentation she had ever seen – And then RETURNED with her mother tonight!   Very rewarding.

Our Lady of Fatima, Chatham

April 29, 2014

My first of three days in Chatham started with Our Lady of Fatima.  Two very attentive student audiences, with excellent Q&A sessions.  Thank You to the parents who attended this evening.

St-Jean-de-Brébeuf

April 28, 2014

Two Schools  today in London!  St-Jean-de-Brébeuf followed by Ste-Jeanne d’Arc.  A Phenomenal day, with St Jean de Brebeuf hosting a record breaking parent audience in the Providence French Catholic School Board!  Excellent job by both schools!

Merci!

Our Lady of Peace, YCDSB

April 25, 2014

Today I spend the day with the students at Our Lady of Peace in the YCDSB.  What was unique about today? I spoke to parents this evening – YES, a Friday night, and parents stayed from 7:00pm – 9:00pm on a Friday night.  Three parents had already attended my presentation two years back, and returned for an update.  It was truly a pleasure to spend time with both student and parents today!

Anne MacArthur, HDSB

April 24, 2014

Anne MacArthur PS in the Halton District School Board.  I spoke with the Grade 4/5/6s & 7/8s today, and then back this evening with the parents and staff.  Great to be recognized by a teacher who saw me two years ago, at another school.

“Even better than the last time I saw you”  Grade 8 Teacher, Anne MacArthur

“Fantastic! I’m glad we came. Thank You!”  Mon&Dad, Anne MacArthur

Prince Philip, NDSB

April 23, 2014

The very first school I visited in the Niagara District School Board was Prince Philip.  Since that visit, I have spent countless days speaking to schools in the Niagara area.  Today, I returned to speak with students and parents.  Two sessions with the students and this evening with the parents.  Thank You for having me back, and continued support of my message.  Great to see both the Principal and VP – who were my references to other schools in the Board.

“It was an awesome presentation. Thank you so much for what you are doing. I will spread the word.” – Mother @ Prince Philip

Glenview PS, TDSB

April 22, 2014

This week starts off in the TDSB @ Glenview, with 700 students over two presentations today (Grade 7 & 8).  Both sessions were well received with the VP commenting on how captivated they were for the whole hour.  This evening, one mother communicated to the other parents how her daughter came home and made some changes in her online life – and that her friends were doing the same thing.  That in itself is the rewarding part of the day.  Thank You to the parents of Glenview this evening for attending (and taking lots of notes)
