My day started off with a Grade 8 presentation at Parnall PS.  I wanted to get a message to them before heading off to High School.  I return in October to speak with the rest of the school and parents.

I returned to Christ The King today, for two sessions with students, and then an awesome parent audience this evening.  Extra chairs were required (yes, the kids went home and got their parents to attend!).

If front of an audience of 100+ teachers from the WRDSB, I delivered a fast-paced and intense version of my presentation.  Pens to Paper and Electronic Note Taking was what I observed as I delivered my message.

My first stop before Father Henri Nouwen was presenting at 9am to 300 students at Forest Run PS at their Healthy Mind & Body Conference.

It was a fast-paced 60min, and the students were excellent.

What can I say – I am honoured to have returned for my third visit to Father Henri Nouwen, in four years.

The Principal has entrusted my message to her students, staff and community.

I returned to St Patrick today.  The tech savvy Principal was live tweeting both student sessions (along with some teachers).

Tonight, St Patrick brought out a stellar parent audience.  It was great to interact with parents after the session that just wanted to know more.  Thanks for a great day!

I returned to Corpus Christi today, for my third visit.

It was a wonderful day with students and parents.  Very impressed with the Grade 7/8s and their questions today.  The comments they left on-line were outstanding!

Light of Christ this afternoon in Aurora this afternoon with two group of students.

Spending time with the Grade 7/8s after school & listening to their feedback was a great way for me to end the week.

I return in October for a full day, with parents!

Julie Payette PS in Whiby started off with the Grade 4/5/6s, and then the 7/8s.

The message definitely went home to the parents, as it was literally standing room only this evening (and extra chairs had to be brought in).  The parents were engaged and the energy was tremendous.

A special thanks to a Toronto Police Services officer who gave his nod of approval, and to the 9yr old girl who left the babysitting room to join her mother and ask “can you please come back”.  That just made my night.

How did I end up at White Haven today?  It’s a great story:

The Principal at White Haven attended my session at her daughters school, where her daughter said “you should go see him mom”. After mom attended my session, she asked me to visit her school to speak with her students and parents.

It was an eye opening day for the Grade 7/8s.  The grade 4/5/6s were excellent.
